Last Night's Moon
I shot a wedding this weekend and thought it would be nice to include a photo of the moon on their wedding night...so I got to try out my new 1000mm telephoto lens
Equipment used:
Camera-Nikon D100
Lens-Quantary 500-(1000mm with 2x converter) f8/11
Apperature f11
Shutterspeed 1/15
ISO 200
Manfrotto Bogen Tripod w/ball head
Remote cord

I got the sharper focus by trickery. I badly underexposed it by shooting it at f11 and 1/160th then adjusting the brightness in photoshop. This left me with a severly grainy/noisy image but converting it to greyscale cleared up all the noise. The color photo up top was shot at the correct exposure and is unenhanced but the slow shutterspeed causes a tiny bit of blur because of shutter vibration even with the remote...it still blurs it a bit.
