Is the pic real/fake? Anyone know the history?
My sister in law emailed this pic to me. No weird story came along with it just something to the effect of "look at how huge this snake is, and the size of that cow"
So does anyone know the origin of this picture, its validity, and/or the story behind it?

hmmm I don't see any cow in thet pic? That animal the snake is chewin' on is a Wallaby (smaller version of a Kangaroo).
The pic was taken in North-western Australia probably in an area Known as the 'Kimberlies'......the snake is an Olive python I would estimate it is getting close to 5 metres in lenght which is the maximun known for this species.
I don't believe the pic to be fake.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't a cow as it didn't really look like any cows I've seen!

Looks real to me -- and like a kangaroo rather than a wallaby. Then again, I'm no expert.
Here's a progessive photo thread showing a snake eating a kangaroo: http://seehere.blogspot.com/2005/12/...-pictures.html
INTERESTING STUFF!
