Carpet's sometime's tend to be nippy as baby's but go out of it and become quite docile. The one thing I notice is that JCP's are a little restless when it come's to being handled and are usally alway's on the go until they calm down a bit! I don't think though as far as temperment goes that I could even get this boy to strike at me unless I rubbed a mouse all over me!

Royal dont let the lenght of a JCP fool ya! The do grow anywhere from 5.5 to 9 feet according on local's, but they are not extremely large constrictor's! They may be a little bigger around than Royals but thats it!

My jungle x coastal is 9' 8" length [ female]. carpets can get quite lengthy.. they are just not HUGE girthed like a boa is all. fine with me though lol.

Coastals will get bigger than Jungles or Diamonds. But when the average BCI owner thinks of a 10 foot snake they're usually thinking of a massive heavy bodied two-person-to-lift type snake. Even Coastals don't get that way; they stay pretty slender and active. They’re a great addition to any collection needing some diversity. Very nice looking heads with great heat pits, and long skinny prehensile tails (I know, I know the little things amuse me ) -Juggalo
