Two New Ball Python Arrivals :)
I had more female balls than males and I strongly intend on breeding this coming season, so I found a great deal on two CB adult male balls that are proven breeders. Nothin' like good o'l captive bred! I was also lookin' for males that have bred before, so there's a plus with these two boys. They're supposedly "reduced pattern" and maybe they are, but I don't see it, and I don't really know what the big deal is with "reduced patterns" anyways. And there was no way I was gonna let my only male BP Monty wear himself out with the girls. LOL
At least two of the females will be more than ready to breed this fall, and the more males, a better chance of gettin' some action. LOL
*And if any of you ask me if I have the time, space, knowledge and money to breed ball pythons, you're gonna get it, that's all I'm tellin' ya. lol I've done more than enough research in the past almost 2 years.*
So anyway, I got these two boys from Christine of "Tails and Scales" in California... so they just took a huge trip across the country! And no, Christine didn't drive, she shipped them. LOL And I got them for a heck of a lot less than what they were previously going for. I got them for $164 shipped and they were previously $400. whew! Anyways, thanks Christine! She was a really nice person to work with.
So here's the first male... he was born August 2004 and has a few nice stripes. He was the first to peek his head out of the bag and look around.
And here's the second, he's an April 2004 baby and is a lot bigger than the first.. I'd say he's around 3 1/2 - 4ft, he doesn't look it in the pics though.

Rogaine LOL!
I guess I didn't make it clear enough in the intro of the thread... She shipped them. That would be one heck of a trip and $100s in gas money if she drove! LOL!!
Now if it was a once in a lifetime Burm or something that was already huge.... now driving across the country I can understand... LOL

Yeah I can understand for some of you people that once you've seen a ball python, you've seen them all..... except for morphs.. *drool* | |
