This pic belongs to Bob Clark. It is his and not mine. I hope he doesn't mind that I borrowed it.

And remember: Neither Boyd (right) nor Bob (left) are small men.

Fluffy Anyway...hmmm...22 ft and 300 lbs...so basically my Burm could very well be that same size by the time it's an adult? WOW...that'll be...fun Also, for those of you who remember about my RTB dying...well...I'm picking another one up next Thursday (payday) from a BREEDER...$75 for one, due to having a friend of a friend etc. Isn't that a normal price for a baby RTB? And by baby, I mean a few weeks old. Or should I go with one at a higher price to make sure I'm not getting taken?

normal price just depens on who is selling it to you. a BCI in a pet shop is usually $90-$120 (depending on how popular, and where you're at) expensive is all relitive though, if normal BCIs were a couple hundred dollars, that would be fine with me, because they're worth a WHOLE lot more than that to me. also, raising the price on them would stop a lot of impulse buying, resulting in poorly cared for snakes. -Juggalo

okay...well, I know that buying a cheap snake from a petstore is bad, as there is usually a reason they have them for so cheap. They have to make a profit from the sale, which means they got a $60 snake for maybe $40 or so, and NO ONE sells a $40 snake, unless there is something wrong with it, or whatever. I know most people sell RTB's in the $100 range...and, in my experience...you get what you pay for. I guess $75 isn't a bad price, as it's straight from the breeder, which can sell them for a lot less than a petstore. I don't know if I've made any sense in this post, as it's kinda late, and my brain is fried, but I hope you get my point...

lol, yeah, I know what your saying, sounds like a good price as long as the boa's eating/shed. petshops (any business really) usually try to make at least a 100% profit, which means a boa bought for $40, will usually get sold for at least $80, usually more, anyway, sounds good! post some pics when you get him/her. -Juggalo
