Great, I wish I could get people in my family to start appreciating snakes. They think their slimy, gross creatures. It makes me mad but everyone is entitled to their own oppinion weather we agree with them or not

exactly, snakes are imo the most facinating creatures on the earth. They are not slimy nor gross, I would even be willing to bet they are cleaner than your tooth brush. What about a snake is "gross"? I think most people are creaped out about snakes that are long and skinny and long and fat. A young rtb usually doesn't freek peopole out once they see that it won't hurt them and realise its beauty. Most of us hate rats, rat lovers would find that as an offensive comment while people that hate snakes would say it and we would get all angry about it. We try to educate people and the more people that know about these magnificent creatures, the fewer people think they are gross and there for we have done our job. Education is the key to their survival in captivity as well as the wild. The more reptile lovers we have, the fewer forrests get cut down and the fewer roads get build through the wilderness

Anybody that thinks any animal is gross should go a month without showering and smell their own armpit. Without a refined water source, humans are the grossest thing on the planet, in my opinion.
