Once again, I am going back to the dark side, albeit slowly. My latest acquistions are pick-of-the litter yellow eyelash vipers. The male is pure St Louis Zoo stock, and the female is Gladys Porter Zoo stock outcrossed with Honduran founder stock.
Since I don't have pics of these little gems yet, here's a few pics of the eyelashes that I used to own.

Bothrops Schlegelli, correct? Sweet Lashes ya had there. I'm particularly fond of the peach phase ELV's. Can't wait to see pics of the new ones.

Very close John. They're now in the genus Bothriechis.
Ritchie- a matuer eyelash viper can range in size from 18-30 inches. Their venom is mild, but they should be afforded the same amount of respect as any other hot. To the best of my knowledge, there has only been one fatality attributed to eyelash vipers- a gentleman who was bitten on the tongue and suffocated due to the swelling. Darwinism at its finest.

Love the yellow. If you are getting your new ones from the St. Louis zoo, they should be very appealing. Still wish I would have took my digi when I went up there to visit my gf's side of the family.
