Full Grown Royal.

Does anybody have a pic of an adult Royal Python? I have never seen either an adult Royal in the flesh, or a pic of one. Do they all die at 3 ft or something? Can anybody post one? I'd love to see it.

Here is a male Royal I had about 12 yrs ago. He was about 4 feet long:


Whether or not he was full grown, I do not know. I had no real info when we got him from someone who couldn't take care of him anymore and I didn't get to see him much after a friend's sister adopted him from us when we moved. I heard he died while in her care, and they didn't know why [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Here are picks of Abbot and Costello. They are roughly 3 1/2 ft.


They both are about 4 years old. A doctor didn't have the time for them anymore. He offered me both of them for $80. Including a 55 Gal, hides, heat pad and carpets! I feel Dragon's pain. I have never seen a full grown BP except for the one I own. Sorry no pics just yet. Mine is a little over 4 feet! I guess people get sick of them early, probably becuase of their love of food [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img]

Oh, man. I have 2 Royals now, a hatchling and another just over 2 yrs old. I never got sick of Mr. J inx (he loved meeces to pieces), in fact I miss him quite a bit [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] . He never refused food, but 12 yrs ago, I was feeding only live. The 2 I have now are on f/t only and eat like major pigs! My male will be starting on small rats in about 2-3 weeks..he's such a fatty, very cute.

HA!! Wasn't that way at first. She refused a rat and mouse at her first feeding...wanted a HAMSTER instead!!! Now she gulps down rats like there is no tormorrow....such a good girl [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Cool. They are the biggest ones I've ever seen! lol. I have held one that was about 2 1/2 foot, but that's the biggest I've seen. Strange that.

Nice pic Eddie. I can see we've started something with the snake/gun pics [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] I must post you a pic of my .22 Beautiful rifle, 10 shot bolt action. I'll post one up with one of our Carpet Pythons for a bit of size comparison. They are both about 6 foot ish.
