Here's the new addition! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Just got her in this am from Hiss-N-Things. The pictures don't really do her justice - came out rather faded compared to her real coloring (can't be too choosy though, the camera was loaned by a friend [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] ). She's actually more of a cinnamon color with a darker rust colored dorsal pattern. She is a bit dull right now (from all I've read they are only at their most brilliant right after shed because the highly keeled scales collect dirt and dust so well) but I'm anxiously waiting for when she sheds because it appears that her dorsal pattern is outlined with red. She also shows lovely red speckling with a cream background on her belly. Can you tell I'm syked?????? lol She's not overly thrilled with being handled (only handled her to look her over before putting her in her new home). I expected as much though since she's an import. That will just take time. The estimate on her age is between 1 and 2 years in age. Seeing her size and discovering that makes me think the male I purchased in May is actually a neonate or juvenile under a year in age at best (he's half her size if that). That rather explains some of the feeding problems. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] Anyway, just had to share. It will be soooooo hard to behave myself and not handle her (it's just been killing me not handling him!). I'll be good, I will be good, I'll try to be good.........
