This lady called the other day saying she had a turtle that had laid eggs in her yard and the dogs are trying to dig them up. Me and a couple friends went out and dug them up yesterday. There were two different nest, one had 22 eggs and the other had 29 but we broke one of them so I now have 50 eggs to incubate. It looks as if I finally got my gecko eggs right so maybe I can get something out of all these turtle eggs.
Oh yeah. They are snapping turtle eggs.
Here is the clutch with 22 eggs. Wish me luck...

Despite the jokes, what you plan on doing with these eggs after they hatch Barry?

Believe he said that he's going to be releasing them back into the wilds once they hatch and are set to go back.

Cool. Yeah I figured he would be releasing them back to the wild. Who would want 50 snapping turtles?

From the discription the lady give us it was a common snapping turtle. I am planning on returning these critters(if they hatch ok) back into the wild. There is a river, some good creeks and a couple ponds that we can turn them loose in near here.
As for the jokes... I expected nothing less of Shadrach but ss..... come on man... dont drop to his level there bud. LOL
