This is my 8 year old, Jourdain. He has been handling this one ever since we got it last week. he's even gotten it to the point that he can walk around most of the day with the snake like this...
Sometimes the snake decides it really wants to wrap on him. Who needs a set of cuffs when ya got snakes ? lol

Just to clarify for some of you....My son did NOT spend his whole day walking around. He actually had to stay put while the snake was wrapped like this for the most part. If he had to use the bathroom or such then he walked with the snake like this. I also had him go outside in order to get the pics too. Neither the snake nor the kid was at risk at any given time. This kid, like my others, knows how to handle/care for reptiles [ sometimes more so than some people I have run into even] . This ball python is the type that is waaay mellow and will just hang for hours at a time.. Such wouldn't be done with other ones we keep, they'd become a risk if such were done with them like this. Gotta remember... Each and every snake has it's own individual personality..knowing such will have a great degree of input as to what you will or will not do with the reptile when handling it.

Should I pull up the post thread with my daughter Pamella holding a ball python around her neck now?? lol YES the pic exists...It was actually done specifically to show someone the correct and wrong way to hold a snake BTW. hehe It took us like 15 minutes to convince her to hold it for the wrong way pose even. We also had like 3 people standing just outside the frame of the pic next to her too. [b]A pic doesn't always show exactly what is going on in the whole pic ya know hehe[b]
