Interesting color..and accidental find..

Ok here are a couple of pics the first is our boa..does anyone think there is anything interesting about it's color and pattern besides me (I know they are horrible pics) or is it just a case of being partial to your own snake? lol
The second pic is something my husband and I stumbled across in our greenhouse this morning. We brought him in and took some pictures before relocating him to the woods behind the house. Boy was he nasty..lol He did not like getting his picture taken at all!







And on the boa yes the little light spots in the dark coloring are there..it's not just a glare. They are are carmel to white color...

Anyways, the pics are a little fuzzy, what kind of snake was the find?

I am not certain, but from the looks it appears to be either a blue or black racer. I'm not sure if their local stems all the way to Indiana though, so I could be wrong.

My guess was also a blue racer...he was a fantastic snake...VERY fast..
