Only good shot I've got so far. This guy is also 2' long, and lovely. I caught him in school, cause they're doing earthworks next door, and I guess it got chased out. I'm thinking of keeping him awhile longer cos he looks like he'll shed soon. May release him after that. Hasn't eaten anything so far, I'm trying small bullfrogs.
I'm using potting soil and compost as a substrate. I'm only afraid it's too fine, or that it contains chemicals, fertilizers, etc. Is there any danger in that to burrowing snakes?
