"Corn" snake ?
Just received this "corn" snake from a high school biology teacher. He no longer wants it after it bit him (an SFE). Obviously it's a Cal. king, it has a lavender hue and blue eyes. What is this color morph called?

me either john until i went to the orlando expo and they actually had an Amethyst snake and lemme tell ya, was that ever purple. (i think it was a king snake not sure, i'll have to ask brad on that one cuz he was there too)
And it had blue eyes too and it was so pretty for a snake.

I have always heard it called lavender phase....shrug....pretty kingsnake. I've been getting rid of some snakes I don't want to breed to make room for an ever growing corallus project. I just sold a younger one very similar to that to mark.

Come to think of it...I've also heard them called apricot phase. I guess you can call it tinky winky phase if you want to. It's all pet trade propaganda anyway. lol
