Meet Rocky Bal BOA
Here are some pictures of my new baby redtail Rocky. He was born a month ago tomorrow right here in Phoenix at the home of a local reptile breeder. I got to pick from 29 babies and he had the nicest coloration and patterns. He has a sort of burnt orange coloration to his saddles.
His home is a 66QT rubbermaid until I can buy the boaphile cage in 2 weeks.

I love the neonate, looks alot like mine! .. Nice loghide, I hope he feels comfy in that 66 qt. Thats what I started off with and decided to make something a little bit bigger of a habitat and bought a 110 qt. Have fun with him.

haha I had the name Rocky Ball Boa picked out in the unlikely event someone ever figured a way to cross a boa and a ball python. There is a pretty good shot that I'll never get to use it though

I wonder if the offspring of this mix were to have babys of there own, if it would lay eggs -- or give live birth?..hmmm I don't think we will ever know =P

I love the name Julius Squeezer for a snake. I will post more pics of Rocky eating a small snack. I had a few extra pinkies so I gave him two yesterday. Shuba, what is your little one eating? I will give Rocky a small mouse for his next meal as these pinkies are too small.
