Some pics from Back Bay - Va Beach
After taking several pics and not paying attention to the warning on the back of my camera that I didnt have a CF card in the camera I went back around and tried to get some new pics. Well here are a few....

Thanks for the compliments
The cottonmouth was in the pond by the visitors center, as was the bull frog. There were a bunch of turtles too, but I couldnt get in close enough to them. It never ceases to amaze me how heavily popultated with Cottonmouths the area surrounding the pond is! When I was walking around to see if I could get some better pics I almost stepped on the tails of two more cottons! |

Great pics Stormyva. Nice find on the the cotton mouth. I wish I had that luck. I have a good day if I find a bullfrog. But when I do they plop in the water before I get a shot of them. What camera are you using for thoughs pics?

I use a Canon Digital Rebel (300D) the lens I was using for the pics above was a very cheap Tamron 100-300 Zoom

I thought that you had the digital Cannon SLR. but wasn't sure. Still turned out great even with the cheaper lens.
