1ST Camera suggestions and a question
My daughter would like her own digital camera. I want to buy her one but want one that is not too delicate---but if possible one that she can view her photos immediately after....any suggestions? This would be her first camera (just to show my age here---my first camera was a Poleriod LOL).
Also I own the sony mavica---and for whatever reason 40% of the discs I try to upload state CORRUPTED/UNVIEWABLE even though I can view them fine in the camera....what gives?
Thanks

Olympus D-380 - I bought mine close to 2 years ago and I love it. Ease of use, consistent quality of pics - you can't beat it - IMO.

For a nice camera with some awesome features take a look at the Nikon Coolpix cameras. The 2100 and 3100 are reasonably priced and have some great features for the price.

I would recomment the nikon coolpix, and the fujifilm digital cameras for first time digital cameras. Both have a good picture quality. I would recommend getting a 3.2 megapixel just because thats photo quality and you can printout 4 x 6's with no problem.

I got my 7 year old an inexpensive digital camera from Wal-Mart. She can view her pics on the camera, on her pc or on a TV.
