Re: MI snow
I live in Minnesota and wish I had your snow. My lawn would look sooo good with about 6ft of it on it.Then no work and I can play with my boas all day..

Re: MI snow
That snow scene is spectacular, Jenny. How many inches did you get? We had our first CO snow day a few days ago. Not quite as spectacular:

When it snows here, it usually melts off quickly.

Re: MI snow
Nice pond Starr. I love looking at snow. I live up here for it. If I could I'd move to montana or wyoming just for it.

Thanks, but I much prefer it in the spring and summer. They run a fountain in that pond in warmer weather, and I drift off to sleep to the sound of the running water.

I hear you. I have a honda del sol. But the part I hate the most is whenever Colorado people see a few snow flakes, they suddenly lose all sense of how to drive (not that they had much sense of it before).

Re: MI snow
In Minnesota it's the same way. They forget how to drive but if you play it rigth you get to see thing like cars taking naps on their backs and try to help. I have a jeep and pulled 4 people outta the ditch last nite. We had freezin rain. That's what I hate. The pond and foutain could be heated like my old place. The apt.complex kept it heated.

I will mention that to the HOA. They will laugh at me. (see Spix's HOA thread). They used to keep the fountain running all winter and we'd get these beautiful ice sculptures.

Re: MI snow
Yep. read sphixx's thread and think it's a crock what they are doin. I'd fight it and then make em do a bunch of stuff then sell the place just to tick em off. The foutain would look really pretty lit up at nite as a ice sculpture.

Re: MI snow
Not fair. We haven't received any snow in the valley here. It has been a very dry fall.
I would be very pleased to wake up to a good foot of powder! Powder is so much fun to drive in.
Enjoy the snow while it lasts!

HAHA! Me too! Was kind of afraid to look at the post....!
Absolutely beautiful, I LOVE snow. Hardly ever seen it. Leaving Toronto late last month, it started snowing at the airport. And I saw it once in February in Torinto and once in New Mexico long ago in December - that's it.
