What camera do you use?
I don't really want to PM everyone. Can you please tell us what brand and model camera you use most for your herp pics? Just the basics, OK? I'd like to be able to connect a camera to someone when we see some great pics posted.
Mine is a Canon A610.
Thanks!!!

I use the Canon Powershot G6. Out of my price range for sure. For anyone young looking for a nice digital camera, just do what I did. Have a kid, and tell your parents they need to get you a camera so they can get pictures of the grandson! LOL

Joe, I use the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5. They also have higher up models. I love my camera for its macro abilities, telemacro and telephoto. I am not a great photographer and lack the skills and patience to learn but this camera is very forgiving. They also have the FZ20 that has full automatic and manual operation. It also has a Leica lens which I hear is a good lens.

I use a Canon Powershot S1 IS, but have only recently started to use it for taking pictures of my Boa. I am still learning how to properly get the color reproduction I want. I am far from being a photographer, but looking at photos here on the site (Gus' for example) make me want to do a little better with my own photos.

Ahhh camera speak...one of my favorite subjects.
Digital:
Nikon D100 with MB-D100 vertical grip mostly for photos I post online
I also have a little Olympus D-550 for when I want something that will fit in my pocket. Toting a D-SLR and an array of lenses isn't always convenient. I have a little canon point and shoot digital too but I don't use it and will likely be putting it on ebay soon.
For film, I get to pick my poison from...
35mm:
Nikon F3hp with md4 motordrive (6 frames a second baby!)
Nikon N90s with MB10 vertical Grip
Nikon 8008
Nikon lenses for both Digital and 35mm...
an array of Nikon interchangeable lenses some fixed focal lengths some zoom ranging from fisheye extreme wide angle up to 1000mm or 2000mm with a teleconverter. Some autofocus-some manual focus.
Pentax K1000 w 50mm lens
Yashica TL-Electro w 28mm lens (currently in need of minor repair)
Ricoh Singlex TLS 28mm, 50mm and 135mm lenses
Canon canonet GIII QL.. awesome little rangefinder. (Poor man's Leica)
Medium format:
Mamiya 645 with 80mm and 150mm lenses 120 and 220 backs
Lighting equipment...
Nikon sb-600
Nikon SB-50DX
Sunpak 333 nondedicated
Sunpak 2000DZ multidedicated
Studio strobes - Norman P500-m power pack with 3 heads setup with main on umbrella, hairlight on a softbox and backlight with color gels. Triflector for fill.
Tripods and lightstands...pretty much all monfrotto bogen.
Whatever you do...don't get me started on darkroom equipment lol

Yes, and don't ask him to post a picture for you. I'll be completely gray before I see mine.
