Here is my thought:
Redtailboa.net needs one of these, so if anyone wants to donate it please PM me haha (worth a shot)
The canon is a great buy from what I have read, but you might also want to look at the Nikon D series of Digital SLR's, they are really nice (and the price is right).
If I were to get one, I would go for the Nikon or Canon

Just looked at the 70D (and the one way out of our price range, I WISH!). We're leaning towards the Canon. If we get one, do you think anyone would be interested in our old Mavica (thinking about the site auction)?

CraigC,
Someone will be interested I am sure. Reply to this with the exact model number. Heck I maybe interested myself...I am using a Nikon Coolpix thats 3 megapixels
I was actually thinking of putting my old digi cam and camcorder up on the site for auction since I barely use them and put the money back into the site for upgrades and hosting cost

It's an MVC FD83 and uses floppy discs. All the pictures in our gallery were taken with it. It's only 1 meg pixel though.

Ok, this can be taken two ways. Are you saying the Canon is not in the same league, meaning better or worse?
