I need new camera
Anyone know of a new good digital for under $300 ( for close ups as well as normal) here is some pics from the chepo I have now, close ups suck.  |

The Nikon Coolpix series are great as far as bang for the bucks go. The Cool Pix 2100 is down below $130 now the 3100 I think is around $160.

we bought a minolta z1, but it was a little over 300, but it did come with a memory card. i like the zoom it has. but i haven't fiddled with it much yet.

I got a $99 Kodak camera from Wal-mart... dont recall the numbers and search isnt working right for me. Anyway, its a 3.2MP and it takes really good images.

I've got an EyeQ 3.1 MPix its pretty nice, paid 85 for it, the LCD on it sucks horribly, but the quality of the pictures is wonderful. just dont expect to be using the LCD much if you get it :P
