Anyone familiar with Baker's Boas?

Baker's Boas - Boa Morphs

This place here. A friend of mine is interested in one of their males (they do have some very pretty boys), but is a little wary of internet animal purchases. So I offered to run the place by some experts (i.e., you lot).

Anyone done business with this site? If so, how is it? How are the animals? Just trying to get some background.

never done business with them, nor have any knowledge of their background. There is nothing wrong with purchasing boas over the internet. Most of mine have been actually. What is your friend looking to get?

Re: Anyone familiar with Baker's Boas?

I know there's nothing wrong with internet purchases, as I've certainly made a few myself. I can sort of see why he might want to get a 'feel' for or references to someone he was planning on sending his paychecks to though. He didn't mention specifically which one he was looking at, but I have a suspicion it might be one of the albinos--he has a soft spot for them.

I don't know anything about them, but aren't 13 of them considered a dozen?

If this is Robert Baker he seems on the up & up but I have never done business with them.

Tell your friend to use paypal and get the insurance. That will make getting their money back easier if the deal does not go correctly.

Re: Anyone familiar with Baker's Boas?

Yeah, that's the same site. Thanks for the inquiry link--I think that will help set some worries to rest.
