JnJ Reptiles?
I just bought a female Colombian from JnJ.
They man I've been speaking to seems very nice, clear with answers, etc..
So far, the experience has been good, but I've yet to get my future daughter...so, we'll see on Wednesday.
Has anyone else done business with them before?

Re: JnJ Reptiles?
I've met him at local shows and we're members of the same herp society. He seems like a decent guy.
He's a real snake mover, so you have to keep in mind, he deals with lots of imports and his inventory turns over quickly. So what, you ask? That means that quarantine is probably close to nonexistent, so it is incumbent upon you to practice strict quarantine for a period of at least 6 months (perhaps a year).
I would buy an animal from him without too much hesitation, but I'd keep it far from my collection, with no crossover of tools, etc. for a LONG, LONG time. (Better safe than sorry).

Re: JnJ Reptiles?
I wouldn't vouch for him because I don't know him like that. He strikes me as a decent guy though.

Re: JnJ Reptiles?
Really? I had no idea.
Imports as in WC? If so, that doesn't make me feel too good.
Well, either way, luckily I have no other snakes, so quarantine won't be too involved or stressful in regards to any other snake's health...if I had them, obviously.
Bleh, this sucks....
I'm going to be positive about the whole situation, though...hopefully she'll be fine.
I appreciate all of the info from everyone. I'll definitely check with yall before I go on a search again.

Re: JnJ Reptiles?
He handles lot's of imported Guyanas and Surinames. I think most of his BCI are CB, but unless he has separate facilities, whatever the wc come in with is in the facility with the cb.
And high turnover scares me, unless you bred them all in house.

Re: JnJ Reptiles?
Eh. I see.
Well, she arrived safely about 30 minutes ago.
She looks good. A little nervous, but with good reason, so I've yet to do a good hands-on look over. Going to let her settle in, acclimate to the new surroundings, ya know....
