Another Boaphile Customer Service Horror Story
OK, everybody knows that the Boaphile's customer service is horrible. He's unresponsive, doesn't tell you when to expect your cages to arrive, etc., etc.
Well, here's what happened to me! I sent that guy a check for two 421D's with double heat. That's right, a check, by old fashioned snail-mail. I dropped it in the mailbox on July 23rd. Then I sat back to wait and see how many months it would take for my cages to escape the gravitational pull of the Boaphile's Black Hole.
Well today, August 13th, exactly 3 weeks from the day I dropped the check in the mail box, the Fed Ex man arrived with my two sleek, perfectly executed Boaphile 421D's. That dirty rotten Boaphile; he told me to expect my cages in 3-5 weeks. Oh, wait. He delivered my cages 3 weeks to the day from when I sent out the check. Hmmm. Maybe the customer service is pretty good, if you call on the phone (like he asks) and pay by check (like he asked me to do).
It's a strange business model he's using. You give Jeff money, and he delivers a great product just as he says he will. What a concept.
Thank you Jeff! My new cages are awesome. All set up with Boas in them already.

Re: Another Boaphile Customer Service Horror Story
LOL and I came in here for a bash fest. Guess you have to keep some people happy to stay in business. You must be one of the lucky ones. Always good to hear good stories about people doing good business on the internet. It gives people good perspective on who and who not to purchase from. If I ever need a plastic cage Boaphile is tops on my list.

That's not fair. There are no snake enclosure manufacturers anywhere near me.

There have been a number of posts through the years criticizing Jeff for not answering e-mail, etc. I always thought that was a stupid criticism of a man whose website says plainly - "I don't answer my e-mail very much. You should call me on the phone during business hours and you'll almost surely talk to me."
As for being full of it, my childhood nickname was Breezy. My Dad said that was nicer than windbag.

I'm so confused....are you happy with him? Or mad? I'm lost. See: "the official thread" for clarification.

I'm thrilled with Jeff and his product line. Most importantly, my boas are all very happy campers (pardon my anthropomorphizing), and I'm a satisfied customer.

Re: Another Boaphile Customer Service Horror Story
Good. The animals comfort is of the highest priority. Your first post was just confusing. If I was in a position to spend THAT amount of money I would have no qualms dealing with Jeff.
