I heard so many good things about them, so I ordered a bulb and waited over a week for it to arrive. I plug it in and it goes on...and shuts off after about a minute. Doesnt work in a different fixture, or plugged into a different outlet. I called and they told me they would send a new one, but I needed to pay to ship the old bulb back. After I already paid $10 to ship it, the guy tells me that it should only cost a couple bucks to ship it back to him.

So I just received the new one, and its the wrong bulb!!! Its been about 3 weeks since I ordered the first bulb and I still dont have what I wanted. Now Ill probably have to pay the ship the new wrong bulb back too... No one is answering the phone either. Has anyone else had any problems with them??? Everything I have heard was really good...

i have never had a problem with Bob. ur first bulb must have been a defect. i ordered an SB at too high of a wattage, so he let me exchange it for the 100w. and about u getting the wrong bulb, he must have made a mistake. give it a couple days and then call.

why suggest she give it a couple days? That /really/ makes no sense at all. I wonder if she was attempting to place an(other) order she would get a faster reply?

So I got ahold of someone today and he apologized over and over. He said the same thing happened to another customer too. Also he said it is very dangerous and its a good thing I looked at the box, because the zoologist bulb should have a minimum distance of 30 inches from the animal, and they arent supposed to even sell them to you unless you can prove you are a zoo or have a large enough enclosure for it. He is sending me a new bulb and a return shipping label.
