frustrating-Radical Reptiles

Oh where to beggin, The other day I went down to my local reptile shop (Radical Reptiles) to order up some crickets and pick up some small meal worms. As I am there and ready to leave some your kids walk in with a girl walking around with a boa wrapped around here waste, this is not the problem that I heard nor saw. The thing that got me was, by the size of the boa I would say it was well over a year old and one of them was asked by a worker can I help you? The kid says, yes. I need to get something to feed my snake, "WHAT DOES IT EAT"

I almost lost it rite there, then I also heard something even worse, he goes to the guy. The snake is making some noise from its mouth a little. Hello Respritory {sic} problems! This poor snake has no chance of a good life with these kids. If I was not going to get arrested, I would have just walked up to them took hold of the animal and walked away straight to a vet to get it checked out and by the end of the day had a new WARM encloser for it to be in....

Ok, sorry I'm done venting....

Was the store talking to them about proper care? Did you try to say something? Unfortunately people don't always do research before buying an animal. Believe it or not some people don't even have internet. Shesh, how do they live?

yeah, at least the guy was giving them what he thought about good husbandry... he did tell them to raise the heat in cage to help out with the RI or what ever may be wrong... I did not hear if he said to talk to a vet though.
