Good Tri-State Area Pet Store
If you live anywhere near Auburn The Pet Store Too at the Auburn Cord Plaza is a great place to go shopping for just about everything reptile related. The store is clean, staff is super friendly and actually takes the time every morning to personally say hello to each and every one of the critters in the store (Yeah, I got to see that with my own eyes!). The tanks with the individual house guests are in immaculate condition. What I noticed regarding the reptiles: The right substrate for every species (aspen for boas, dust-free pine for skinks, etc.), Exo-Terra hiding places and waterbowls, artifical plants to hide and crawl, drift wood, rocks, fresh water daily and - of course - super healthy critters (red-tailed boa, coastal carpet python, skink, leopard gecko, chinese water dragon, etc.).
One of the guys working at The Pet Store Too, Tony, is the official reptile specialist in the store. If you need help with anything reptile related (including the need of force-feeding snakes), ask him for help.
Uh-oh, almost forgot: Prices! Well, I was still smiling when I left the store last time, meaning, they don't break the piggy bank.
