Any 'chain' animal store is going to be different at every location, the petco where i purchased grissom my leopard gecko was far better at keeping their reptiles than the petsmart here...and their prices were better too. It really depends on the employees. Everyone was amazed at how healthy Grissom was and that's how he came straight from petco.

Petcos aren't all bad. Mine is awesome. But I have seem some pretty terrible ones. It really IS based on the employees and management at a particular store.
