An update. The person who started the thread on Faunaclassifieds has received his 2 Ball Pythons.
One arrived with some suspicious looking scales on his belly, so he took them both to the Vet.
Ended up BOTH are infected with Giardia, and one has Blister Disease on his belly.
Wow, I would REALLY push for the refund, instead of for getting the snake. Who knows whats going on there...
Why would healthy and FEEDING captive bred Ball Pythons have a Giardia infection bad enough to need treatment?
I dunno, I would be really looking elsewhere for a snake...at least until things straighten out at this place and the owner gets back in there and takes care of business.

Yeah I wouldnt get the snake now, I doubt they even HAVE it. Something is fishy Id just demand the money and get out while I could..Then Id get a snake from someone more reputable.

still havent gotten the snake. ive emailed them n tried calling and saying id call the cops and stuff and no answer. i called their local pd and filed a complaint (last month). no word.
what makes this whole situation suck even more is that this whole thing was kinda for my little brother (13yrs old). i was getting the snake so we could learn to care for it and such because he wanted to ask my parents for one of his own for his bday (today).
this whole thing really has me depressed. i dont even care about the money anymore. i just wanted the snake =\

Jiggy, you need to get on the BOI and find the post where that one guy is compiling a list of people that never got anything from Top Shelf Exotics.
Right now people are also donating monies to hire a laywer.
Get on that list...
