New Legless Lizard

This weekend I rescued a Legless lizard from a man in Florida on my vacation. I don't know a whole lot about them and I'm looking for advice on anything. It's about 1 1/2 feet in length and looks healthy to me. He's pretty docile and doesn't seem to mind being held. I fed him two 3/4 crickets yesterday and he ate them during the night. Any info is great help!

A native glass lizard, or a european legless lizard? There are numerous species and some of their care can be a little different. For native ones, generally set up like any other native lizard. UV light, basking area in the mid 80s, loose substrate to burrow in, lots of meal worms, earth worms, crickets, and even pink mice for food. European ones are basically the same, only they typically get bigger and thus need more space. Then theres slow worms... a slightly different ball of wax.

It's native, an Eastern Glass Lizard if I'm correct. Thats what I've found online.
