Thanks to my wonderful love, my 13yr. old is now the happy owner of a CWD.
The problem is, I am the only one that understands the word "research". Can anyone give me some good links to caresheets and whatnot? I can't seem to find much, and nothing interactive except Kingsnake, and I don't much care for that site. (no offense).
Thank you in advance. I just want what's best for the little guy...

Won't find too many people around here who will take offence to that, if none.
As for the Chinese water dragon.. please make sure if your child won't do research then they should'nt be caring for the animal, you should.
Here are some links to some care sheets:
Tricias Chinese Water Dragon site

Thanks for the welcome, I've posted in other places here, and you all are great!
Though technically speaking it is my son's pet, like everything else alive in my house,
I am the caretaker. It's my job as the Mom!
Thanks for the link, I'll ccheck it out, then MAKE the kid read it too!

Water Dragons are great pets. I love my WD Magic though I didn't know what I was gettingmyself into when I got him, water dragons (just like all reptiles) are not just a pet, they become a way of life. Once you get one, you just can't stop. Less then a year ago I had 2 cats, then I got Magic. Now I have 4 lizards, and love them all.

Thanks CrzyJes! I've learned alot since we got him/her in August. Augua is it's name, and it's taught me everything I know about CWD's. It's very friendly, but still isn't big on being held, quite squirmy. Any advice on that, besides keep at it? Do they ever calm down? Regardless, we love it, and we'll keep it around.
As for being addicting, I caught the snake bug, but hope to get a beardie soon.
BTW, CrazyJes is a nickname I call my little sister!

No sadly Louise the only one there was a female with what is going to be some gorgeous colorings and markings, but she has horrible mouth rot and I think might be disfigured for life from it(just to say she IS being treated), and to be honest its hard enough to afford generalized vet bills, much less taking in a sick animal. And I don't want to risk the health of my Magic. He is going to be keepingg an eye out for a female for me and also he is getting a female sugar glider for my roommate so she can breed her SG Gizmo. We took Magic and Gizmo with us to the store, they loved it!! Thank you so much for telling me about the store, I will defiantly go back there. Oh and I decided I really want a snke today but I can't afford the one I want!! (Rainbow Boa).
