new addition to the fam, as well as a slight rescue
from the looks of it, its a sagebrush lizard, common out here in lake tahoe. i rescued him from my cat who ended up had 2 dead birds near him when i saved the little guy. i hope he recovers

Hopefully he wasn't bitten.. catbites cause a rather nasty infection in small animals like that.. Good that you saved him though, poor little guy's probably traumatized...

remember, If you keep him, or even if you keep him for a while. Keep him away from your cali king, and out of sight of the cat, and they need UVB lighting

yea, ive left him be once i got him set up in a close to natural habitat... my backyard in a cage lol. also SSA he looks like a sagebrush. i said it in my OP :P
