Russian legless Advice
Ok, so I've done my research on these little buggers, and I can find out all about what they eat, how they eat, etc... but not how often?
I'm assuming daily, like beardies?
Thanks for any help, pics are coming soon.

Re: Russian legless Advice
Im guessing you mean the Sheltopusiks?
Ophisaurus apodus
I kept them at room temp with a small heat pad on low kept on for 12 hours, with a substrate of cypress mulch.
You can feed them pinks, mealworms, crickets.
I also misted them a few times a week and kept the water filled and fresh almost everyday.
I didn't keep them for very long, but the time I did have them, they were pretty easy going.

Re: Russian legless Advice
He's a pretty big one Telefrag...wouldn't he need to eat more often? Or just more at a sitting?

Re: Russian legless Advice
I put in about a dozen crickets today. He ate all of them and promptly buried himself in his substrate. If I put my head under the tank, I can see his belly. hehehehehe!
Anyhow... I offered him a mouse pink earlier, but he gave me the proverbial finger. So I went and bought him crickets. *is a pushover, I know* :P
He's super sweet. He's really scared though, so I put a blanket over half his cage so he could feel secure.
So far, so good.
