Hey all, I'm wondering what you guys (and gals!) can tell me about skinks? Mainly fire skinks if its any difference. We just got one in at work and I know Nothing about it. The thing is about 7-8 inches long, and one fast son-of-a-gun. Also Really nippy. Anywho. They set it up in roughly a 10 gallon all glass aquarium with repti-bark (its Fir bark) bedding and some moss, couple big sticks and a 'tree' thing. What Should it have? Do they like it humid? or really dry? They eat crickets? How can I better take care of this thing?
I'm mainly asking because the other guy who knew a lot about reptiles just quit today, and my manager (the Only other reptile 'savy' person in the store) is always too busy to get a straight answer out of. I seem to be the only person who even cares sometimes....
*ahem* anyway
any help at all would be great
Thanks!
