dwarf caiman
i have decided in the next 20 years i would get a dwarf caiman I still need to do tons and tons of more research. But between school and reptiles i dont have much else to do except read about reptiles. But my question was does any one own a dwarf (BW???) if so can i get some reliable resorces and supply list. And i'm not going to get one in the next 5 years for sure.

I don't own one myself, but we have 3 at the zoo I work at. Right now they are only 8 1/2 inches, so the care really isn't that hard, but boy, they have some additudes (the scars on the hand to show it.)

They tend to be more agressive than American Alligators or Nile Crocs, or normal Caimans. Not sure why that is. BW could probably shed some light on that.
The few people I know that have them, would prefer to work with larger crocodillians than the dwarf Caiman. Perhaps because with a 4ft animal it has less room to reach back and get ahold of you, whereas with a larger animal there is more room to manipulate the animal safely.
