Oscillated Skink Question
I recently had one of these dropped off at my place (i.e., somebody didnt want their baby so they gave it to me), and I know very little about them. Would people with more experience than me be kind enough to point me in the direction of some care sheets for these guys?

I've had a few of these pass through my hands over the years.
I always kept them in a slightly moist cage, about 75% humidity with a cypress, or moss type bedding, and fed them small dusted crickets and kept the cage at room temps, but did provide a heat pad under a small portion of it.
They seemed to be really active, but never let me touch them, at least not willingly.
I didnt put a huge water dish in there, just a shallow one, but I did mist them every other day or so.
I never had one for more than 5-6 months, but they seemed to do pretty well on what I described above.
I think they benefit from UV light, but I cant remember off hand.
hope that helps.

Actually Crush, I know nothing of these guys.
The one thing I do know is that they are nothng like Blueys.
Telefrag has got this one.
But as for the UV I always say if it basks in a heat lamp, UV couldn't hurt.

This guy doesnt bask (so far), so I am sticking to an undertank heater. He constantly burrows into whatever substrate I use, so I doubt that any UV lights are going to do much. I have had him over a week, and they only time he comes out is to feed, drink, and when I root him out.
Thank you for the advice! My biggest concern was the temperature I should keep the tank, but it seems he should be fine.
