The guy at the pet store told me that he is full grown and right now he is is 4-5 inches.....Is this true or did I get bamboozled....thanks guys! ok Well I have some bad news....... I don't think my little guy is going to make it! He is so lethargic that unless I really mess with him he does nothing.......There are little spots of a blood color under his belly and on one of his arms. It looks like hes bleeding on the inside, and he is skinny, the day before yesterday he looked absolutely fine, he was eating and moving about under the sand like normal, but yesterday he started surfacing and wouldn't go under the sand much at all. I checked on him this morning and he was back under the sand but his crics were still in the tank, so I removed them., he is in the middle of a shed also, (at first I thought or hoped he was just hybernating or something) wishful thinking! But he went from good to bad in no time at all! He is small so I guess mising a meal or to could possibly make him look skinny, but I am seriously thinking he had a disease or something. There is not a lot of info out there on these guys so I am at a loss. If anyone knows what this might be or anything at all, please let me know! I have had in another room since I got him(my quarentine period) and up till 2 days ago he seemed fine, whatever it was it hit hard and fast. About 2 hours ago my girls called me in there because they thought something was wrong, and when I saw him I thought so also, but when I went to touch him he darted back under the sand!!! Its really wierd, now he is unresponsive to almost anything!

Just some ideas.....
How have your temps and humidity been in the enclosure?
What type of substrate are you using?
Have you been doing the day/night cycle thing, and if so what type of hours have you been using for the "day"?

all the temps were fine, there was little to no humidity, Substrate was sand, He did not make it BTW, Like I said earlier I think that maybe he was sick when I bought him although I picked him because he was bigger than the rest and he seemed to be alert. i am going to take him to my vet and see what he thinks. Thats all I can do now! Of course he was in a seperate room from any of my other babies, and since he passed I hve totally scoured that room to make #$%^$%^$%^$%^& well sure that if it was a disease that it won't affect the rest of my guys!
