FINALLY! pink tongue skinks!

these guys are awesome, even more awesome then helmeted geckos, infact, they are probably more awesome then almost everything else in my collection. they arrived today, straight from GERMANY. one of the coolest things about them is that a. they can be house successfully with rhacodactylus [crested, gargoyle geckos] and b. almost no one has them [thus why they are from germany.]
they came in an uninsulated box on a 60 degree day, but luckly they were all alive and kicking. i set them up and sprayed them, they seem a bit on the dehydrated side, but so many days in transit, thats to be expected.
they are so cute, i just want to gouge my eyes out with cuteness. haha.

yea, i was thinking that too "with a name like pink tongues... wouldnt you think.... ?" but they are the right species. they are all pretty young, so im guessing maybe they devolop with age? i dont know.

thanks, i ended up getting as many as i could afford at the time, just to get them into the US, and i plan to resell about half of them.

Cool looking lizards! Nice photos too.....
If you wouldnt mind, how many did you get? Just curious, cause I may know someone who would be interested in acquiring a couple, possibly. She really likes skinks, and those are so cool looking!
Also, since they are from over-seas, do you have to have papers to keep them?
I really know very litle about the lizard trade. Thanks.....

thanks, i got 10 of them, 2 of them go to a friend who wanted to do a group order, and then i plan to keep at least 4 if not 5. tho they are from australia they arent CITES, so its legal to keep, breed and transport them. They are of course CBB because nothing is let in or out of australia anymore.
