Hi i am twelve years old and i want a lizard of a gecko. i want to be able to handle it but dont want to spend more than 160 on a tank and all. Is a 30 gal big enough because thats wat the guy said at the pet storre. they have babies there for 60 doll ars is this a good deal? [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Ok.. First off..

Just a clarification here... Are you saying that the beardie is a gecko or just inquiring as to whether to get e beardie or a leo ? What ones are avilable that your looking at also? The leo would do better in a 30 gallon than a beardie.. for long term that is . As for handability.. both are handable lizards. keep in mind that both of these have different husbandry requirements also. Which one are you more prepared to care for ?
