Broadhead Skink (Eumeces laticeps)

I was sitting on my front porch yesterday grunting and groaning about my back problems, leaning back onto the brick wall next to my front door...saw something moving out of the corner of my eye...turned and there was a big male broadhead skink like this one on the wall next to my head looking at me like "Dude, What's your problem?"

There is a community near my home that these skinks seem to love.. they inhabit the 1st floor, which is basically an open air garage with three walls around here, to the point that they are almost a neuisance. You cant even go to take the trash out in th evening without watching where you step.
