look what ran over my hands today...
Sorry I have no picture, didn't have the camera with me. I was outside weeding a flowerbed when one of THOSE ran right across my hand.
Startled me for a sec, lol. What a beautiful little critter it was, though...
He was missing an eye, which is probably why he even came so close to me.

LMAO! I love those..we have those here and they are so cute! I didnt know they were the same ones with the little blue tails. Thought those were 5 banded skinks or something along those lines..Anyways Cute lil buggers

Lol, I have snakes and lizards by the truckload and probably would have screamed if a "wild" reptile ran by me. I would calm right down and just be fascinated, but I have such a bad startle reflex, husband thinks it is SOOO funny.

lmao That is pretty funny! Got huge boas in the house but a 12" garter streaks past and I almost pee in my pants LOL Actually seeing them out really doesnt bother me...Its the WORMS man, I hate frigging WORMS!!!!!

Yes, it only startled me because I was "deep in thought" and it ran right across my hands...hahaha.
I immediately LOVED it though, I absolutely love any kind of lizard and the fact that there are so many around my house. I have a whole big family of those living here, like americ. I thought they were five lined skinks, because I've always seen only the younger ones with the striped bodies and blue tails.
This was such a cool little encounter. Since he is blind on one side of the face I was able to sneak up on him real close, before he scattered off again

YEAH I left those and slugs out too..Not big on the slugs..Spiders..eh, not my favorites, but I can stand them..
Slugs, Worms (even caterpillars) snails, centipedes, millipedes Im not big on.

oooh brod headed skink... lovely lil biters arnt they.. they have a nice grip i was diging up a little palm last year and found a female brod headed skink under it... set her in a critter cage on my porch wile i ate lunch went to go bring it inside and a red tail hawk was trying to get at her thru the plastic.... the skinks mouth was wide open hissing and what not... there cool |

Hehe, if I knew they are big on nipping I probably wouldn't have tried to get so close.
I was actually able to touch it and also to hold my hand right up to its head. Then it skittered off...

yah i think its just if your holding it so it cant bite is when it trys to i got the female pretty hand tame in the week i had her then i let her go. she was just one of those ooh pretty i want to see her personalaty kind of things
