Found in the nick of time !
My Son yelled earlier this evening - I bolted up to his room to find him stood there with our Eyed Lizard in his hands, hes been missing since the 10th Of August 05 ! ( 6 Months ) he is very skinny but seems pretty alert - I thought he was long gone, hes been hiding out in my Sons bedroom all that time, he may have managed to eat the odd stray cricket, he will need building up gradually with food, I've given him a good misting, hes seems fine, although looks totally different from his mate ( fatty and skinny ) his girlfriend was over the moon to see him back and gave him lots of snogs awh ........... hopefully he will be ok -

Hi
They don't like to be handled, the closest I get is a quick stroke on their head or back , before they bolt down to the other end of the viv lol - She is glad to have him back, awh..........................

You can see the difference in size, hopefully he will catch up over the coming months -

They always find a comfy spot lol - my banded kingsnake dissapeared for five and a half months, ( I don't make a habit of losing my reps !!) rubber bungs everywhere now - I found the snake on my pc desk, he had only been about a foot and a half away from my all that time. Before he went awol, i use to sit with him at the desk, he must have thought it would be a comfy spot to snooze .................Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

First thing I thought when I saw the pic is "jeweled lacerta". I've never heard it called an eye lizard before, but I really don't know much about them. I've seen them in books and thought they were gorgeous... but I've never really seen one offered for sale anywhere. Who sells these?
