Butron's legless lizard

I just picked this guy up at Lee Watson's swap. He was sold to me as a Burton's, which I beleive he is, but I'm a bit confused. The guy said he had it eating crickets and mealworms, but I've read that they are skink eaters. If it will eat insects for me, is that an appropriate diet? Or do I need to find feeder lizards? And if so, will anoles work? I've also read that they're really skittish, but this guy has seemed ok with the limited handling I've had to do. The vendor said temps of low 80's with an 86 degree basking spot- does that sounds ok? I aven't been able to find much info on these guys at all! Bensnacks, you still around? Or can anyone else help? Thanks!

yea not sure about them but I once saw that a european species were opportunistic feeders and would take most anything they could eat, but were do they come from and what kind of potential prey for those are there that might point you in a direction of what could be a staple food for that guy.

By the way he is really cool.
