Hamster pinkies for chinese water dragons?

HI, Does anyone know if it's ok to feed hampster pinkies instead of mice to my CWD? It won't be permanent, just 1 litter. Thanks

Are they nutritionaly better? I thought they would be too fattening, but if that's not the case I wouldn't have a problem just giving him them.

it's not so much that they are nutritionally different (the differences are there but not enough to worry about)--it's more that animals seem to develope a taste for them---apparently hamsters taste better to some reptiles. So that if your lizard gets used to them--what will you do when you can't offer them anymore and he refuses anything else?
It's easier to find mouse/rat pinks then hamster.....

Thanks bunches. Yeah...i think i'll just save them for treats everyonce in a while. He is very picky like that. Sometimes he'll refuse to eat fish and will hold out for super worms and vice versa. so i could def. see him refuseing to eat anthing else. and i was olny giving them to him cause i have the breeders, but i don't think i wanna get into that for very long, lol. Thanks again, i never heard anywhere that there was a taste differance.
