new blue tongue skink

My husband and I adopted a blue tongue skink yesterday. We've done all our research and have a good setup, but were just looking for some good advice and experience. Those of you that have these- what are some favorite foods? Good substrates? Basking lights, undertank heat or both? Anything else?
