Mealworms
I have been buying giant mealworms from a petshop for my CWD for a while now, and he's been really good with taking them out of my hands. I have been putting Two a day in the water hammoc(Its not full of water) for him to eat while I am away at school. I assumed they couldn't get out, but I have recently seen the bark moving on the floor of the cage, and to my astonishment I found a baby mealworm in the bark. Is this a problem? I ahve been looking for the beetles resposible, but I have so far been unable to find them. Any suggestions would be nice, thanks.

well that depends on what you would like to do...it's very easy to have beetles that you don't know are there---I find them all the time. If you want to be sure of no beetles or worms within the substrate you can dump it all and begin again but this will happen again as long as you use meals or supers. One gets out--digs for darkness--morphs and lays eggs.

I just found two full grown Superworms--I am assuming they are full grown I dont have much experienc with them--I guess i'll just keep looking, I still dont know how anything would survive in the substrate.

what type of substrate is it?...I have had worms survive under newspaper....it doesn't matter much.
Unless you try and breed them---then they all die
