The new Blue Tongue Skink
This is one of the two things we purchased while at the reptile show in Raleigh this past weekend. It is a little Irian Jaya BTS.

So far the skink seems to be pretty cool... it was the wife that wanted it though. It seems to have quite a bit of personality, kind of like a very fat lazy beardie 
Tony, the show was pretty good. I was dead set on getting an ETB while there but the pricing was the same as online and I didnt see anything I really liked. There were a lot of people and quite a few displays that upset me. One of the displays looked like a show case of abused animals... all unhealty wild caught stuff and a roughly 8' retic in a 20 gallon long glass tank with a wicked case of mouth rot. I think I am going to have to start staying away from shows.

I have considered getting into a few lizards, BT's, Beaded or Gila Monstors, but until I finish with college and move out the county I live in (for legal reasons) I just don't have the time.
