Pics of my 2 baby SIBs
Finally got some pics. They are both feeding now on house geckos. After a few more good feeds, I'll try switching over to scented pinks. When I got them, they were 4 grams each. Little!!

since I'm new to snakes I don't know what the initials stand for? Very cute though. What typr of housing are they in? Do they cohabitate?

Oops! Sorry. They are Solomon Island Ground Boas. Currently, they are cohabitating as they were littermates, and are in quarrantine. I feed them seperately. They max out at 2-4 feet, and are really neat snakes. I currently have them on paper towels with an 82 - 75 heat gradient. They seem to prefer the cooler side of the tank, and love to soak. Both are males.

I love the candoia, I just wish they weren't such a pain in the butt, LOL. Sometimes you can get CB babies that are feeding on rodents, but they are mostly predisposed to a reptile/amphibian diet. *sigh* And I just don't want to go there yet...
Good luck with them, they are beautiful.

Thanks!, and you're right....luckily, I have a good supplier of feeder geckos locally, so I can go and pick up 2 every other week or so to feed them. I picked these up at the WP show in NY, 2 for 35. I assumed they weren't feeding, so I'm psyched that they are!! Even if it is geckos for now.

Is it possible to feed frozen thawed lizards? I do not imagine there would be any reason it would be impossible, but I have never owned anything that ate lizards.

You know, that's a darn good question. I THINK the snakes are triggered by the erratic movement of lizards and frogs, as well as the scent, so I'm not sure.

What little sweeties.
I envy you your lizard supplier. I could do with one of those here. I currently need to catch very small common skinks. If I were a snake, I would die of starvation. Hopefully I can get one soon enough so that my maccie baby won't.

Skinks are good! It must be a pain to have to catch them all the time, though. I got really lucky with Regal...... If I can make it through the first few months to a year with them, I should be good. I've heard they DO take rodents as they get older (somewhere, the gods are laughing at my naiivety) so it should get better. I'm an optimist. They are really cool snakes, in mannerisms and appearance.

TONYHAWKINS, I ve seen your pics somewhere else....yahoo? Beautiful snakes!!! Love 'em, and hope mine grow up to be half as pretty!
This is another one for sale near my house, that is eating ft pinks, unscented. He's alot bigger and much better established than my guys. They are asking $89.00, but I already have 2 males, and NO females! LOL...Looks like I'll hold off on him. Love the chocolate color, though. Supposedly, he's Paulsoni.
These are updated pics of my guys.
The quarter shows the relative size, and I have had them for about 2 months at the time the photos were taken. They had fed about 3-4 times each. They are a bit bigger now.
