Plus of course I didn't even think to try and find the old basic camera either.
My kids a few minutes ago were yelling that one of the BRB's was eating it's shed.
UH HUH...YEAH RIGHT ! They kept at it so i went to take a look. I have never in all my years of keeping snakes seen a snake actually eating it's own shed, till today that is . AND I didn't have a dang camera to get it on film ..ARGHHH. The one that was doing this is Pebbles, my female BRB. She is 7 months old atm. I actually had a fight with her to get the shed back from her[ forgot how sharp them lil toofies can be ! ] She of course was not letting me have the shed back at all as far as she was concerned in this struggle. She had a mouthful of shed and kept striking at me the whole time I was trying to get it back from her. Feisty lil witch ! I got most of it back from her and had to put her back down for a minute to get a better grip on her [ placed her in her cage] and before I grabbed her again she actually sat there and swallowed the piece that she had in her mouth still. She actually made like a chewing movement with her jaw to get it down also. When she was done and had that piece down she went and struck at me one last time and then crawled away into one of her hide logs. WHAT A THING TO MISS GETTING IN PICS !! Well, this doesn't sound too odd right now. Just about a week ago my BRB started clouding over, so I'm expecting to see shed laying around. I pull it out last night to soak and all, but it doesn't seem too cloudy anymore. Eyes clear, skin shiny...maybe it's possible that it ate the shed. I'll keep checking.

Both of mine are cloudy right now. I'll have to watch and see if it happens. I'll try to get a pic if it does.

I've read that, but my ball never did. I don't know, this is my first boa. My ball would just cloud up to a certain point, and then shed. Guess every one is different.

Well, Lori both my BRB's shed last night and there was a full shed in the tanks this morning they didn't eat it so I don't know what to tell ya. (Mabey if you fed the thing it wouldn't have to resort to eating it's self).
