Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
Caught him at the "tail end"
(literally the tail end is coming off in this picture)

Then he starts to realize there is an intruder in his cage!

Back away slowly from angry anaconda...

Thanks for looking!

Oh yes he is full of evil. I don't even know how long he is or how much he weighs because I avoid touching him at all costs.

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
That's a pretty anaconda!
He doesn't look evil. Just close your eyes and pick him up.

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
Oh yeah, he doesn't lookevil...any closer with the camera and I'd of had an up-close shot of the inside of his mouth. And the musk is AWFUL. He looks smaller in this picture than he really is, he's probably pushing 6' or so now. I tried handling him when he was younger and he would leave bites with bruises so bad it looked like my boyfriend was beating me. So I'll just leave him be for now

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
They really are a beautiful species. To me the very much resemble rainbow boas, but of course get much bigger. He's ALWAYS iridescent and such a brilliant yellow-green. I've heard plenty have the potential of being quite tame as long as you buy a CBB baby and start young. Mine was already over a year old when I got him. Not saying it's something you should jump right into, but they are very slow growers compared to the other giants. Mine is somewhere around 6' at 3-4 years of age, whereas a burm or retic would already be twice that size.
Thanks for the comments, all!

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
You just want to see bite pictures don't you?? Don't worry, I will need to get him microchipped soon, I will have the camera ready for your viewing pleasure
And for the record I am NOT a pansy about handling animals that are deemed "aggressive." I tried and tried with this one, and based on my own personal experiences decided to give up on it.

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
He does look like he's paying a little too much attention to the camera.
There's so many questions I want to ask....but..must resist... maybe I don't want an argentine boa yet. LOL
More pictures are always appreciated in the future.

I've been wanting to ask. Is that a marble yellow in your pics or am I just imagining things?

Very pretty normal as far as I know. Is marble a morph?

Marbles basically look like a normals but a more intense black? Idk, I'm not very good at describing morphs so I'll just show you a link. :/
